Jubilee Foodbank donation

Another Foodbank to receive a portion of our £100k donations was Jubilee Foodbank Market Harborough. Their mission is to ‘help end hunger across the Market Harborough district’ by providing vital food parcels to local families in need.

This Foodbank is a valuable asset to the local community, and one that is close to our hearts. The money will be used not just for provisions, but also with their upcoming expansion to enable them to support as many future families as possible.

Liz Mills, chair of Jubilee Foodbank, said: “We are so grateful for such a generous donation. It’s great to receive support from Market Harborough Building society, a local organisation that also wants to help in other ways. This substantial donation means that we can be confident about supporting people who need food parcels now and into the future. It’s also a great encouragement to our volunteers as it supports their time and effort. Thank you for your commitment to local groups.”
