Christmas should be a time of joy and spending time with friends and loved ones. Sadly for some people in our communities Christmas can be a lonely experience, and household budgets do not stretch far enough to giving presents and sometimes putting food on the table.

Supporting our community is at the heart of our purpose and a key part of our Thrive Agenda to help members, colleagues and community flourish and live full and positive lives.  

As part of this commitment, this winter we are pledging £100k to support local good causes and you can be a part of this. You can apply for a donation if you represent a local charity or community group within South Leicestershire, North Northants or Rutland that has a Christmas event planned to support local people.
