Our Commmunity Prize Draw is back for another year

We’re delighted to announce that our monthly community Prize Draw is returning for another year, bringing with it a further £12,000 of support for local good causes.

The Prize Draw helps our members turn everyday saving into community impact. Each month, one member is selected at random and receives the opportunity to nominate a local charity or community organisation to receive a £1,000 donation.

Over the past year, the initiative has supported a wide range of causes across the communities we serve, including Marlow House in Desborough, Stoke Albany Village Hall, Cransley Hospice, Market Harborough Macmillan Cancer Support, Johnny’s Happy Place, the Bodies Hodges Foundation and Northamptonshire Health Charity.

The Prize Draw is simple to be part of. Members are automatically entered each month when they open or pay into an eligible savings account, creating an opportunity to support a cause that matters to them while building their own savings.

Toby Patterson, Branch Manager said:

“Over the past 12 months, we’ve seen first hand how meaningful these donations can be for local charities and community groups. We’re proud to support the communities we serve and delighted to continue the Prize Draw for another year.”

“It’s a simple idea that reflects who we are as a mutual. Members can grow their savings while helping make a real difference to causes close to their hearts, creating positive impact across our communities.”

The Prize Draw forms part of our Thrive Agenda, our commitment to helping customers and communities thrive. Through the Thrive Cycle, we connect saving, belonging and community impact, ensuring our success is shared with the places and people we serve.

Over the past three years, we have invested £1 million in local good causes, supporting charities, community groups and initiatives that make a lasting difference across our region.
