Recognition That Reflects Our Culture

In a year shaped by economic uncertainty and changing expectations in the workplace, we’re proud to share that we’ve once again been named one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work for 2025.

This is the second year in a row we’ve received this recognition, and it means a great deal to us. It’s more than just an award — it’s a reflection of the culture we’ve built together, where our colleagues feel they belong, are supported, and are inspired to do their best work.

People First — Always

As a mutual, we’ve always believed that people come first. That belief is at the heart of everything we do; from how we lead, to how we support our teams, to how we serve our members and communities.

Investing in Our Communities

Earlier this year, we announced a £250,000 donation to our community fund, part of our long-term Thrive! Agenda. This includes Thrive! Forward, a new programme focused on supporting young people with mental health, financial literacy, career planning, and employability skills. And we’re just getting started; more exciting updates are on the way.

A Modern Mutual with a Purpose

This recognition from The Sunday Times is a proud moment for us. It reinforces that our values-led approach, our commitment to community, and our focus on colleague wellbeing are making a real difference.

Looking Ahead with Confidence

We’re honoured to be seen as a leading example of what a modern mutual can be — one that delivers for its members while investing deeply in the people who make it all possible.
