We’ve received national recognition for supporting savers

We’re proud to have received a commendation in the Best Building Society Provider category at this year’s Moneyfacts Awards.

We were also named a finalist in the Notice Account Provider and Monthly Savings Account Provider categories, recognising our commitment to helping members make the most of their savings.

This recognition comes as we continue to invest in both our savings products and the communities we serve. Recent enhancements to our Notice and Bond account ranges have given savers more choice, helping people find an account that suits their individual goals and circumstances.

As a mutual, we’re owned by our members, which means our success is shared. We combine competitive savings products with a commitment to creating positive local impact because we believe saving should do more than benefit individual finances.

How is our local community benefitting from our success?

Through our Thrive Agenda, we have invested £1 million in local good causes over the past three years, helping charities, community groups and local organisations make a difference where it matters most. It is part of our belief that when members save with us, they become part of something bigger; a cycle of saving, impact and community growth.

Toby Patterson, Branch Manager at Market Harborough Building Society, said:

“We’re delighted to receive this recognition from Moneyfacts. Independent awards matter because they give people confidence that they’re choosing a provider they can trust.”

“For us, it’s about more than competitive savings accounts. It’s about helping our members make more of their money, providing great service and creating positive impact in the communities we serve. That’s the difference a mutual can make.”

At a time when many people are carefully considering where they keep their money, we believe savers increasingly value organisations that combine competitive products, trusted service and a genuine commitment to local communities.
