Since 1999, the Charitable Foundation has helped to make a real difference by awarding over £230,000 of grants to more than 350 local organisations. 

The Foundation is proud to have supported the following causes during the past two years…

Shopmobility – £2,250 for two new motor scooters (July 2019)

Harborough Band – £1,000 for musical equipment (July 2019)

Langtons Cricket Club – £480 for a fridge/freezer (July 2019)

Finedon Community Sports & Leisure Centre – £3,581.40 for the Warmer Building Project (July 2019)

Northampton Sailability – £2,269.04 for a new dinghy (July 2019)

Glapthorn Village Hall – £1,500 for electric heaters (July 2019)

Five Harborough Scouts – £1,250 for tents and equipment for Jamboree (July 2019)

1st Kilworth Scout Group – £1,760 for new tents (March 2019)

Waterloo Community Garden – £1,075 for improved access and parking (March 2019)

Islip Sports Association – £2,200 for goal posts (March 2019)

Harborough Primary STEM Partnership – £650 for a year’s worth of prizes (March 2019)

Harborough FM – £1,019 for new studio equipment (March 2019)

Foxton Snooker Club – £500 for snooker table refurbishment (March 2019)

3rd Desborough Scout Group – £2,500 for the extension of storage shed (March 2019)

WizeUp – £700 for the presentation to Robert Smyth Academy (March 2019)

Home-Start Wellingborough – £1,350 for a photocopier (Dec 2018)

Harborough Youth & Community Trust – £912 for kitchen equipment (Dec 2018)

Lubenham in Bloom – £1,000 for containers for plants (Dec 2018)

The Bridge – Homelessness to Hope – £1,500 for a new ceiling and lighting (Sept 2018)

Leicester South Foodbank – £890 for new shelving for their centre (June 2018)

Gretton Parents School Association – £2,000 for a playground shelter (June 2018)

Cope Children’s Trust (Rainbow’s Hospice for Children and Young People) – £2,000 for a waterless bubble tube (March 2018)

Harborough Singers – £2,000 to purchase portable risers for their choir (March 2018)
