Since 1999, the Charitable Foundation has helped to make a real difference by awarding over £230,000 of grants to more than 350 local organisations. 

The Foundation is proud to have supported the following causes during the past two years…

Meadowdale Primary School – £3,570.62 for the creation of an outdoor learning area (June 2021)

Welland Rivers Trust – £2,708.60 for river wardens’ kits (June 2021)

Medbourne Village Hall – £3,223 for a commercial dishwasher (June 2021)

Oundle Gilbert & Sullivan Players – £1,870 for a scaffolding tower (June 2021)

Brigstock Village Hall – £4,635 for flood protection units (June 2021)

Little Bowden School PTA – £2,000 for a climbing frame (March 2021)

Market Harborough Hockey Club – £5,000 for a team dug-out area (March 2021)

Canal & River Trust – £4,992 for paddle boards, buoyancy aids and helmets (March 2021)

Whetstone Theatre Company – £4,542.12 for a digital projector (March 2021)

Lenthall House Community Garden – £1,780 to create a garden of remembrance (December 2020)

Market Harborough Cricket & Squash Club – £459.99 for a storage shed (December 2020)

Harborough Youth & Community Trust (The Cube) – £2,038 to purchase and install a wooden gazebo (September 2020)

Home-Start Northampton – £1,700 for volunteer training (June 2020)

Desborough Library – £1,500 for kitchen refurbishment (June 2020)

1084 (Market Harborough) Squadron ATC – £1,000 for new musical instruments (June 2020)

Leicestershire South Foodbank – £5,000 to support operational costs during the pandemic (May 2020)

Women’s Aid Leicestershire – £5,000 to purchase furniture/equipment for refuges during the pandemic (May 2020)

Hallaton Primary School – £2,000 for artificial grass for outdoor play area (March 2020)

Sibbertoft Reading Room – £292 for roller blinds (March 2020)

Lowick and Slipton Parish Council – £2,000 for defibrillators (March 2020)

Cransley Sailing Club – £1,000 for the clubhouse refurbishment (March 2020)

Market Harborough Chess Club – £250 for new chess sets (March 2020)
