Best Short-term Lender finalist at the Mortgage Strategy Awards 2024

Following a record-lending 2023, which saw us deliver 20% mortgage book growth for the second year running, we’re delighted to be finalists in the Best Short-term Lender category at the Mortgage Strategy Awards 2024!

As the first mutual to provide bridging finance, it’s fantastic to be recognised for our specialist short-term solutions and our dedicated team’s hard-work providing a proactive, personal service.

Last year we more than doubled the number of brokers we helped, with our bridging business increasing year on year by 84%. We responded to the growing market and increasingly complex client circumstances with:

• Increased support for brokers and clients – our award-winning service was delivered by an expanded, dedicated team of bridging experts, and we launched our minimum 24 hour product withdrawal notification
• Increased product choice and broadened criteria – alongside existing variable rates, we launched a fixed rate range. Extra flexibility was also introduced for high net worth clients
• Quicker turnaround times – especially for straightforward, well-packaged cases
• New, innovative tools including our online application system, Case Hub, for efficient processing and 24/7 access
