Our Standard Variable Rate has dropped
From 1 January, our residential Standard Variable Rate (SVR) dropped by 0.20% to 7.99%. The holiday let SVR and commercial base rate also reduced to 7.99% on the same day.
We’ve reduced our mortgage rates
We’ve made further reductions to our fixed and variable residential and let rates, meaning they’ve reduced by the following:
- Residential fixed rates – up to 0.40%
- Residential variable rates – up to 0.40%
- Let fixed rates – 0.20%
- Let variable rates – 0.20%

To support affordability for many clients, we’ve updated the interest stress rate across our residential solutions
We’ve lowered the minimum equity required for interest only deals within London and the South East to £300,000 to make it even easier for you to place those cases with us
