The client’s scenario

In this case, our Bridging Business Development Manager, Will Edwards, was approached by a broker who was relatively new to bridging finance. Their client was the lucky winner of a luxury countryside property with a long-term plan to sell their prize. In the meantime, they wanted to secure a dream home closer to their home town. The broker turned to us for advice on how best to proceed and Will was only happy to help.

Our solution

Working closely with the broker to understand the details of this case, Will and our dedicated Bridging Team were recommended suitable options. They explained that with bridging finance, the focus is on security and repayment strategy rather than affordability, the future sale of the countryside home provided a viable exit strategy. By taking this approach and benefitting from the interest being rolled up until the end of the loan, we were able to offer the client a suitable bridging finance solution, allowing them to realise their dream of moving closer to family.
