Meet new Head of Mortgage Distribution, Iain Smith
We’re delighted to welcome Iain Smith to our team as Head of Mortgage Distribution.
Iain will provide strategic leadership to our mortgage sales teams and will work in partnership with our broker partners to deliver a service that is truly best for them. He will take responsibility for delivering continued growth as we drive towards becoming the UK’s specialist lender of choice.
Iain’s appointment comes after another highly successful year when we achieved mortgage book growth of more than 20% for the second consecutive year. We also won a Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award for providing consistently outstanding service.

Iain has previously worked in both the banking and mutual sectors. He joins us from the State Bank of India, where he was Head of Intermediaries and before that, he held senior positions at both the Bank of Ireland and Yorkshire Building Society.
