We’re excited to announce the launch of our Lending Advisory Panel, a new initiative designed to supercharge our lending business through innovative propositions, distribution strategies, and process transformations.

Over the past three years, we’ve achieved remarkable success with 50% growth in lending, including a third consecutive year of record mortgage advances in 2024. Focusing on specialist lending in more complex niches has been a key driver of this growth, and the Lending Advisory Panel will build on this momentum.

The Panel aims to foster collaboration between internal teams and external experts to leverage diverse insights and expertise. Its focus will be on shaping innovative lending propositions tailored to complex and niche markets, enhancing distribution strategies to reach a broader and more diverse customer base, and transforming lending processes to improve efficiency and customer experience.

First to join the panel is industry veteran Danny Belton. Having spent 35 years at Legal & General, 25 of which were spent overseeing L&G’s Mortgage Club, and a recent stint as Head of Lending for Mortgage Advice Bureau, Danny Belton has established himself as a prominent figure in the mortgage lending community.

Danny says: “Joining the Lending Advisory Panel is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation like Market Harborough. I’m eager to share my expertise and help shape the future of its mortgage business by advising on innovative and effective lending strategies and initiatives.”
