Our commitment to helping you and your clients’ complex mortgage needs remains as strong as ever. In 2024, this enabled us to deliver another fantastic year, growing our mortgage book by £66 million and contributing to 45% book growth over the last three years.
We’ve had particularly strong growth of over 81% in our bridging finance lending, helping 52% more brokers in 2024. All of this contributed to us being recognised as the Best Short-Term Lender at the 2024 Financial Reporter Awards, thanks to your votes.
We led the way in doing the right thing through the launch of our Best for Brokers Promise, ensuring you receive the highest level of service and support. This includes us providing at least 24 hours’ notice before withdrawing any product. We know how much you value this, and we’re proud to have been awarded a Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award for the second year in a row, thanks to your feedback.
We remain committed to providing exceptional service and have expanded our team to provide even more support to you.

Together we Thrive
This success helps us to invest in and give back to our customers and community, which is something that is at the heart of who we are as a mutual. In 2024, we continued to build on our Thrive! Agenda making significant contributions to our communities, including donating £50,000 to the Leicestershire and Rutland Community Foundation to support various good causes, and £60,000 to the Leicester South Foodbank. Additionally, we contributed £7,000 to Market Harborough Against Bullying, which was the profit earned on the extra ‘Leap Day’ and our colleagues spent an impressive 2,000 hours volunteering.
Reflecting on 2024, it’s clear we’ve had a remarkable year and have achieved so much together. As we look forward to 2025, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead as we work with you to make it even easier to place your complex mortgage cases.
