Charity of the Year 2021
Thank you for voting
Throughout the year we take part in various voluntary fundraising activities. These range from baking treats and sponsored runs to monthly dress down days. Members of staff shortlisted four great charities for you to choose from and you chose Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance as your winner!
Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance
Every day of the year, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance is helping save more lives. Their critical care paramedics, trauma doctors and pilots fly an average of 10 rescue missions a day across five counties. Within minutes they can be on the ground delivering lifesaving care at road traffic collisions, sports events, and industrial accidents or for medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest and stroke.
The air ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery.
The charity receives no government funding and rely entirely on donations to raise the £1,700 they need for each rescue mission. Your support will help keep them flying. To find out more visit the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance website.
